Nir Salomon established the Integrative Gastroenterology unit at Sheba Medical Center and collaborated with Professor Shomron Ben-Horin on a research project for ten years to develop nutraceutical therapies for Inflammatory Bowel Disease. They conducted successful clinical trials from 2011 to 2022 on the use of CurQD®, a combination of curcumin and Qing Dai, on patients with UC.
Salomon presented his international, investigator-initiated placebo-controlled trial on CurQD® at the Crohn’s and Colitis Foundation of America (CCFA), where it won the Poster of Distinction award.
In 2021, Salomon and Ben-Horin founded Evinature with Sheba Medical Center to provide affordable and effective therapies to IBD patients. Salomon is a speaker at medical conferences, promoting integrative and evidence-based therapies.
