With a research facility in Andover and its global headquarters for the Centers for Therapeutic Innovation (CTI) in Boston, Pfizer has had a presence in Massachusetts for 15 years. However, the new 280,000 square-foot, Kendall Square location will position Pfizer at the epicenter of a productive research hub in which 1,000 R&D professionals will work together.
Areas of therapeutic research will include inflammation, immunology, rare diseases, cardiovascular and metabolic diseases and neuroscience.
