Dive Insight:
According to a report by CNBC, Paul Bulcke, CEO of Nestle, had nothing but praise for the 53-year-old Roger. When citing Roger's qualifications for the position, Bulcke said, "His extensive insight, knowledge and experience in different geographies and industries, in particular in food, nutrition and pharma, will allow him to quickly contribute to driving the performance of the Nestle Group."
This is also reflect's Nestle's intentions to become more invested in the general healthcare-nutrition field, and Roger will be well-suited to give the food giant some outside-industry perspective on how to achieve that goal.
